Energy-efficient facilities and
manufacturing
- Highly energy-efficient plants
- A3 and A4 energy-rated facilities (Italian Energy Performance Certificate - APE)
- Photovoltaic with exported energy
- High-efficiency 4.0 plants and warehouses with LED lighting
Highly energy efficient buildings
Located in Settimo Torinese, our production centers are next-generation industrial facilities designed to reduce environmental impact and maximize the use of renewable sources. Both plants are Energy Class A3 and A4 certified, complying with the most rigorous national standards for energy performance (APE).
Thanks to advanced thermal design and the use of full-electric technologies, we significantly reduce heat loss, ensuring operational comfort with controlled energy requirements year-round.
Energy independence powered by renewable sources
The installed photovoltaic systems meet internal energy needs while contributing to the energy transition by feeding surplus energy into the national grid. This commitment enables us to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, backed by measurable data:
Annual operational emissions:
- Facility 1: ≈ 10 t CO2/year
- Facility 2: ≈ 4.2 t CO2/year
Renewable electricity fed into the grid:
- Facility 1: 57,803 kWh/year
- Facility 2: 230,456 kWh/year
High-performance technologies and systems
We implement advanced technologies to optimize consumption and resource management:
- Air-to-water heat pumps: highly efficient air conditioning systems that completely replace gas boilers.
- LED lighting: low-consumption systems with occupancy sensors to reduce energy waste.
- Automated logistics: smart vertical storage systems that optimize space and material handling consumption.
- Efficient coating: an automated system with advanced filtration and continuous monitoring of atmospheric emissions.
Safety and responsible material handling
Our environmental management is based on strict oversight of the supply chain and materials we use. We operate in compliance with European directives to ensure maximum safety:
- REACH compliance: continuous monitoring to ensure the absence of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern).
- RoHS III compliance: guarantee that electronic components do not exceed the legal limits for heavy metals and hazardous substances.
- WEEE management: taking responsibility for equipment end-of-life by financing the recovery and recycling of electrical waste.
Delfin Sustainability Roadmap
For Delfin, sustainability is a journey of continuous improvement.
We are committed to integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria into our processes, generating measurable benefits for the environment and stakeholders. We have achieved solid milestones and continue to invest in strengthening our vision of a responsible industrial future.
Industrial vacuums sustainability: durability by design
The sustainability of Delfin industrial vacuum cleaners begins at the engineering stage.
Through high-efficiency motors and certified filtration systems, we develop solutions that combine productivity with environmental sustainability.
Our industrial vacuum cleaners are designed to operate for decades in the most demanding environments.
Extending the product life cycle is the most effective strategy for reducing raw material use and emissions associated with manufacturing new units.
Modular design allows for quick maintenance and easy replacement of components. This approach extends the service life of the system, helping counter the throwaway culture and reduce waste generation.
Our technical consulting service ensures that each machine is correctly sized for the specific application.
This avoids energy waste resulting from oversized systems and guarantees consistent filtration efficiency over time.
Choosing a Delfin solution means investing in durable technology that supports our customers' ESG sustainability goals, optimizing the environmental footprint of the entire production process.
All our systems use multi-stage filtration technologies, which are essential for:
- Improving air quality in the workplace.
- Protecting operator health by minimizing exposure to fine dust.
- Ensuring the safe disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
Delfin explosion-proof solutions for hazardous environments are designed and built to the highest and most up-to-date ATEX safety standards, with an engineering approach focused on preventing risks from the design stage.
Our solutions are high-quality stainless steel or treated with certified conductive coatings, tested in accredited laboratories to ensure electrical continuity and effective dissipation of electrostatic charges.
All components are selected to minimize ignition risk: antistatic, spark-resistant deflectors, accessories, hoses, and conductive or antistatic non-metallic parts ensure proper grounding of the entire system.
The systems can be equipped with ATEX-certified automatic filter cleaning systems and sensors that monitor capacity, pressure, and efficiency, ensuring continuous monitoring of operating conditions and performance.
We design and manufacture side-channel blowers, electrical control panels or junction boxes, and motor heads with Ex tb certification, suitable for operation in ATEX Zone 21 environments. Our advanced know-how is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our customers.
This approach helps prevent fires, explosions, and process anomalies, reducing downtime, accidental releases, and environmental impacts, while protecting people, infrastructure, and production continuity.
