About the role
The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of technical and engineering activities related to the design and optimization of mechanical components and systems, with a particular focus on the following tasks:
- Design of light metal fabrication components using CAD software: The candidate will be responsible for the detailed design of light metal fabrication components, using 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor. They will be responsible for creating 3D models, technical drawings for production, and drafting with all necessary technical specifications, including tolerances and materials.
- Development of wiring logic for electrical panels.
- Design of containment systems for dust and liquids: The candidate will be required to design innovative solutions for the containment of dust and liquids, integrating electro-pneumatic discharge systems. This includes selecting the most suitable materials and integrating sensors and actuators for the automatic control and management of discharges.
- Certification and periodic verification of regulations applicable to manufactured goods: Continuous monitoring and updating of certifications and directives applicable to products, including compliance with European and international regulations regarding safety, quality, and the environment.
- Periodic optimization of the production process: Collaborating with the production team to identify areas for improvement in the production process, reducing costs, improving efficiency, and ensuring the quality of the final product. The candidate will analyze workflows, propose solutions to increase efficiency, and implement changes aimed at optimizing processes.
Skill and experiences
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. Relevant academic backgrounds will be viewed favorably.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor software: Experience using Autodesk Inventor for the design of mechanical components, with a focus on creating 3D models, simulations, and renderings.
- English Language: Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, to manage technical documentation, communicate with foreign suppliers and partners, and participate in ongoing training on international standards.
- Electrical engineering skills: Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical machinery, with a particular focus on pumps, compressors, fans, and pneumatic conveying systems. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and implement engineering solutions based on these skills.
- Teamwork and autonomy: Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with a propensity for rapid learning and operational autonomy in the development of projects and technical solutions.
- CAD skills: In addition to knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, proficiency in other CAD software such as Autodesk AutoCAD or similar programs is essential. Knowledge of software for two-dimensional and three-dimensional technical drafting is crucial for the role.
- Knowledge of mechanical technologies: In-depth understanding of metalworking techniques, particularly sheet metal forming, necessary for the design of structural and functional components.
- Experience with pneumatic conveying systems: Previous experience in the design and implementation of pneumatic conveying systems is preferred, including knowledge of materials and the management of air currents for material transport.
