DM2 1/2D

The DM2 1/2D is a Delfin single-phase industrial vacuum cleaner, ATEX-certified for use in Zone 20 (internal) and Zone 21 (external) environments. It is designed for applications requiring the collection of combustible or conductive dust in areas where the risk of an explosive atmosphere is frequent rather than occasional. Its Ex tb Dust Tight IP64 head—certified by a third-party body and marked II 1/2D Ex h tb IIIC Da/Db—operates safely even under conditions more demanding than those suitable for Zone 22-only models. 

Powered by a 2.2 kW brushless single-phase motor compatible with 50 and 60 Hz power grids, it delivers an airflow of 430 m³/h and continuous vacuum pressure of 2250 mm H₂O. This performance, combined with an 80 mm inlet, allows for the handling of large volumes of dust without loss of efficiency over time. It features an antistatic polyester pocket filter (Class M) with a surface area of ​​30,000 cm² and a manual cleaning system; the large filtration area extends the intervals between cleanings. 

An H14 HEPA absolute filter is included as standard, offering 99.995% efficiency according to the MPPS method. The 100-liter AISI 304 stainless steel container is the largest in the DM2 range, enabling extended work cycles without the need to stop for emptying. Despite its capacity, the unit remains compact and lightweight, making it easy to move between departments. It is the ideal solution for environments where combustible dust is consistently present and a higher safety margin is required than that offered by Zone 22-only vacuums.
